Last wednesday we had a lovely business showcase evening  in aid of ‘Galway Hospice’ and ‘Abalta’. Caroline Gannon was the brainchild on the event and with the help of several local ladies, managed to pull off a fabulous evening in Regans of Clonboo.  The idea behind it was to give people a look at what is on their doorstep in terms of business enterprises and shops etc. We were delighted with the turn out on the evening with many stylish ladies in the mix. There were many fabulous hampers to be won and the ‘best dressed prize’ went to Ann Marie Kenny on the night for her beautiful ensemble. We were treated to a Fashion show with the ‘Captain Tortue’ line of clothing which can be ordered through Caroline Gannon . Makeup applications on the models were done by the super talened Denise Fahy of ‘Beaute by Denise’. Hair by ‘Hairwaves’ in Corrundulla and Jewellery by ‘Bead Jewelled by Eithne’ .  After the fashion show we got to see Michelle Mcguire in action with her Zumba class. It looked like such fun and is a great fitness idea if you are not a fan of the gym (guilty !!) It was great to see the other fitness business stands also with Lakeside school of Fitness and Scully fitness there on the night giving us a look at the various options available.

Ronan Lardner our superstar DJ on the night hosted the show in his usual humorous manner which is why he is so popular for events and weddings (and of course he is on Galway Bay FM now incase anyone didn’t know)  !

Here are the other amazing business vendors on the night :

O’Connells Pharmacy Corrundulla , Green Earth Organics, Brown Bag donuts, A small creation, Living foods Ireland, Flowers by Marie, Balance Bee holistic therapy, Not just cupcakes, Buds’n’bows, Tupperware Galway and of course little old me at Boudoir girls/Natalie Greer Portrait photography.

Thanks to all the other local businesss who offered prizes for our hampers for the night!
