Thursday we had a fabulous evening of glamour and cocktails at the House Hotel Galway . The star of the show Mr Ken Boylan ( Image Magazine Ireland MUA of the year) showed us how to achieve a lovely daytime makeup look  transitioning into a night time look. Ken was very  charismatic and had us all giggling away while we watched him work his magic. I happened to meet Ken coming out of the carpark on the way in so had a nice chat before the craziness of the evening took over. Check out Kens makeup range ‘Makeup play’ which can be found on his site : http://www.kenboylan.com along with other tutorials and his adventures with ‘the Glam squad’ on Xpose.

My good friend Fiona Coyne of C Beauty has been a stockist of Ken Boylan makeup range for some time so it was her brainchild to bring him to Galway for this superb night. I managed to grab a quick snap of Fiona and Aislinn of the House hotel leading up to the event looking amazing in Willow dresses.  The beautiful models on the evening itself were dressed in ensembles from Willow with makeup being by Fiona herself and hair by Louise from Bliss.Boyd Challenger was on hand taking plenty of images so I am really looking forward to seeing them along with Ruths up and coming blog piece on it.  Stay tuned to http://thebeautykemple.com to see more.

Fiona specialises in Bridal makeup, group sessions, masterclasses and various beauty treatments. Check out her site for more info and hit it a like on Facebook here https://www.facebook.com/makeupbyfionacoyne/?fref=ts and of course she stocks Makeup/Play by Ken. The lovely Louise Clarke from i radio was on hand to host the evening and talk us through the outfits from Willow boutique. I was admiring her plum lippy earlier on in the evening I thought she was a makeup artist herself as she looked so glam . Head pieces were by Emily Jean O Byrne and stunning hair creations on the evening were by Bliss Bridal Hair Styling  .

It was like Deja Vu for myself and Theresa Danaher of makeup flair who first met Fiona and Ruth at a House Hotel event back in 2010 when they both had ‘Heaven Scent’ beauty salon . It was great to have a catch up with them both and with Margaret on the evening as we are all so busy with different ventures we are always running or rushing. It was lovely to just sip a drink , have a chat and lament how much things have all changed since we all set out on our business ventures.

We were treated like royalty by the girls in the House Hotel , nibbles included popcorn treats, mini bruschettas, pastry bites , little cones with fish and chips and mini burgers. Cocktails were delicious as always – I sampled a beautiful Mojito.  No stranger to this venue myself as I photograph a lot of hen parties around Galway the house hotel lends itself beautifully to a photoshoot. I just want to run out the door with all the opulent chairs!

Here is a blog link to a lovely hen party I have shot here  previously Ann-Maries glam hen.

To top off my night I won a raffle prize for afternoon tea for 2 with bubbly so I have to come back now for another fabulous outing!!
